154 Collective is an international, multi art form group, including Performers, Painters, Writers, Photographers, Animators, Dancers and Musicians. With Collaboration at the heart, we seek to tell stories from unusual and fun perspectives whilst using an array of art forms and approaches to achieve this, including: theatre, exhibition, publications, music, live projections and public art.
Fabric Lenny - Visuals: Based in Holmfirth, Fabric Lenny is an artist and image-maker who makes distinctive and engaging Paintings, Prints, Illustrations, Drawings, Films, Objects and more recently Public Art. Fabric Lenny is a serial collaborator, and to date has collaborated nationally and internationally with dancers, musicians, writers, photographers and other visual artists in the creation of interesting visual meanderings which are candy for the eye and musings for the soul.
He exhibits work nationally and internationally and over the past few years has begun to develop work within the public domain, through a series of public art commissions. http://www.fabriclenny.info
Dan Mallaghan - Performance: Dan has been working professionally as a writer, performer and storyteller for over 12 years. Based in Bradford and formerly the Artistic Director of lost dog theatre, Dan turned freelance in order to work across a wider variety of art forms. His experience and ability to blend multiple art forms into theatrical productions and to create unusual narratives has gained him an excellent reputation.
Alongside his work with 154 Collective, Dan continues to work on a freelance basis with other companies such as Slunglow and Balbir Singh Dance Company. He also works with schools and community groups, developing ways of using the arts as an educational tool, and is often invited to Universities to talk about multi art form and collaborative approaches to theatre. http://danmallaghan.tumblr.com
Yvonne Roberts - Lens Based: Yvonne’s current photography work encompasses engagement projects, documentary based photographic commissions, artist residencies and exhibitions. Her work uses professional photographic equipment and mobile devices such as the iPhones and iPads. Over the last couple of years she has explored a range of iPhoneography techniques and has developed a library of fascinating images captured and processed entirely on mobile devices. As well as working alongside other artists she also has extensive experience of engaging children, young people and communities in all aspects of her work through participative training workshops within educational and community environments. http://www.yvonneroberts.co.uk
Ben Rothera - Creative Producer: Ben is an Independent creative producer, project manager and audience development specialist with a particular interest in finding entry routes for under-represented groups into the arts and generating audiences for contemporary work. He has worked for a range of arts and cultural organisations facilitating the creation and presentation of high quality work across theatre, dance and live music. Most recently, he worked for Leeds-based producers Dep Arts supporting a range of artists with organisational strategy, fundraising and partnership development. Ben is also a member of the Board of Red Ladder Theatre Company.
